Rennplan

iRacing season planner for Windows

Buy only the tracks you'll actually race.

Rennplan puts your whole iRacing season on one screen. You see which weeks you can already race with the cars and tracks you own, and what it costs to race the rest.

One-time purchase. No subscription and no account. Includes the 2026 Season 4 schedule with 150 series, 187 cars and 150 track packages.

Rennplan's season matrix: one row per starred iRacing series, one column per race week, with a legend reading Raceable, Needs car, Needs track, In cart. Cells are green where the week is raceable, amber where a car is missing, red where the track is missing, violet where the track is in the cart.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Import what you own

Sign in to iRacing inside the app, or paste your Cars and Tracks pages. Rennplan reads which content is already yours.

  2. Step 2

    Star your series

Pick the series you want to race this season. Each one becomes a row in your season grid.

  3. Step 3

    Get your shopping list

Rennplan works out which cars and tracks give you the most race weeks for your money, and adds them to your iRacing cart.

Your whole season at a glance

Every series you follow is a row, and every race week is a column. A green week is ready to race, because you own the track and an eligible car. Amber means you still need a car, and red means you still need the track.

Next to each series you can see how many weeks you're able to race. Eight is the number you need for iRacing's participation credits in a twelve-week season. Week 13 has its own grid with one column per day.

Hover over a red week to see every other week that needs the same track. Click it to add the track to your cart.

Find the series you want to race

Search all 150 series by name and star the ones you want to follow. For each series you can see the full schedule and every eligible car, with the cars you already own marked.

Rennplan's series list: a name search with category and licence filter chips, each row showing its licence class and how many of the eight weeks championship scoring counts you can already race, beside a detail pane with the selected series' schedule and its eligible cars.

Import your cars and tracks from iRacing

You don't have to tick off your content by hand. Sign in to iRacing in a browser window inside the app, and Rennplan reads your cars, tracks and favourite series in one go. If you'd rather not sign in, you can copy the Cars and Tracks tables from the iRacing website and paste them in.

You enter your password on iRacing's own login page, so Rennplan never sees it. Your content list is saved on your PC and nowhere else.

Rennplan's My content page: a meter estimating the eligible items you own plus what's in your cart toward the 40 item discount, a collapsed panel for importing from the iRacing website, a search box with Owned, Not owned, Free and In cart filters, and the Cars and Tracks tabs above a checklist of cars with their prices.

Know what to buy and what it costs

Rennplan ranks the cars and tracks you're missing by how many race weeks each one opens up per dollar. You can compare three plans: the cheapest, a balanced one and the one with the best coverage. You can also set a target of your own.

Set a budget and the plan stays within it. The totals already include iRacing's volume discounts. If you start in the middle of a season, only the weeks that are still ahead count.

Rennplan's purchase planner: a target and budget row, the Cheapest, Balanced and Best coverage tabs, then each suggested car and track with the series it opens up, its price, the weeks it buys per dollar and the running total.

Add the plan to your iRacing cart

When you're happy with a plan, Rennplan shows you an itemised quote. It then opens the iRacing store and adds the items to your cart for you. You check the cart and pay on iRacing as usual. Rennplan never sees your payment details and never completes a purchase.

One price, no subscription

A single iRacing track costs $12 to $15. If Rennplan saves you from buying one track you don't need, it has paid for itself.

Frequently asked questions

Is the schedule up to date?

Yes. The current schedule was read from iRacing on September 15, 2026. Each new season arrives as a free app update, and your starred series are kept.

Does Rennplan get my iRacing password?

No. You sign in on iRacing's own login page, in a browser window that the app opens. Rennplan never reads or stores your password. You can remove the saved sign-in at any time with the Clear all my data button in Settings. That button also resets your content, starred series and cart.

What does Rennplan do in my iRacing account?

It reads your cars, tracks and favourite series, and it adds items to your cart. It cannot complete a purchase, so you always pay on iRacing yourself. If you prefer, you can skip the sign-in completely and paste your content in as text.

Does it work offline?

Yes. The schedule, your content list and your licence are all stored on your PC. You only need an internet connection to import from iRacing, fill your cart and download updates.

Is Rennplan made by iRacing?

No. Rennplan is an independent project and is not affiliated with iRacing.

Is there a Mac or Linux version?

No. Rennplan runs on 64-bit Windows 10 and 11. You don't need to install a .NET runtime. The import and the cart filling use Microsoft's WebView2.

Who makes Rennplan?

I'm a solo developer in Germany. I built Rennplan because I kept buying iRacing tracks that I only raced once. If you have a question or run into a problem, write to [email protected].
